'Feud: Charles and Diana' Will Be A Female-Driven Story
Following the tantalizing news that Feud's second season will focus on Prince Charles and Princess Diana, more details are already emerging. The show's executive producer Alexis Martin Woodall has said that Season 2 will follow in the footsteps ofFeud: Bette and Joanas "a woman's story."
"It's an important feud, it's a classic feud, and again, it's a woman's story," Woodall toldEWyesterday. "She was 19 years old when she married him, she really had to find her own way, and it is rich... and then with the beauty of the world around it, it's just exactly right for us."
Woodall explained that her co-EP Ryan Murphy has been thinking about tackling the Charles and Diana story for a long time. "With Charles and Diana, they were these heightened, they were royalty—true royalty—and they still had the same issues of insecurity and relevance and importance and love that everybody goes through.
