How to Make a Fish Burger
A fish burger makes a delicious, easy meal for lunch or dinner. Crispy, flavorful, with a slight crunch, fish burgers are great to serve on a hot bun with any desired toppings such as ketchup, mustard, or extra chopped chives.
- Makes:4 servings
1 pound fresh tuna steaks, minced
1 carrot, grated
½ cup onion, chopped
½ cup chopped fresh chives
⅓ cup breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon olive oil
Garlic salt and black pepper, for taste
Combine all the tuna and vegetables in a large bowl.Mix the tuna, carrot, onion, and chives until well-combined.
Add the breadcrumbs and mayonnaise.Mix again.
Crack in the eggs and season with salt and pepper.Mix.
Form the fish mixture into patties.
Preheat the stovetop to medium heat, spreading olive oil over the skillet.
Place the patties on the skillet and cook until brown and crispy.
Serve.Place the cooked fish burgers on buns and add other desired toppings such as ketchup, chives, or mustard. Enjoy!
